Tiempos de cambio en el fútbol modesto español. La reestructuración a la que se enfrentan las categorías “no profesionales” en un entorno temporal cercano obliga a cambiar el chip.
La Segunda División B es la categoría que marca la frontera entre el fútbol profesional y no profesional en España. Por categorías “no profesionales” se conoce comúnmente en España a las divisiones de Segunda división B (incluida) hacia abajo. O, siendo más concretos, a todas menos a la Primera y la Segunda división A.
Esta acepción de la no profesionalización, sin embargo, tiene sus detractores. Aquellos que piensan que la profesionalización de una entidad deportiva, en este caso futbolística, no se la otorga la categoría o división en que milita, si no la estructura que dicho club presenta. Y este componente está formado, no solo por la confección de la plantilla, sino también por una organización que cuenta con unos medios o recursos.
Es decir, un club de fútbol no deja de ser profesional per se porque milite en Segunda División B. Deja de ser profesional en el momento que tiene una estructura no profesional. Y dentro de esta estructura, los componentes que la forman son diversos. En primer lugar, la plantilla (jugadores y staffs técnicos). Las diferencias entre los equipos son, desde este punto de vista, muy grandes en esta categoría.
Otra de las magnitudes es la organización directiva. Aquí es donde la variedad dentro de los equipos de Segunda B es enorme. Evidentemente, hay clubes que cuentan con una superestructura profesional que les asemeja a clubes de segunda o incluso de primera división, en tanto hay otros que más bien podrían pertenecer a categorías claramente inferiores. La dirección de la entidad, la dirección deportiva, la dirección financiera o el departamento de marketing son algunos de los componentes de la organización profesional.
Y por supuesto, los recursos propios de la entidad (independientemente de la personalidad jurídica). Probablemente, la Segunda B sea la categoría del fútbol europeo con mayores diferencias entre los Patrimonios de los clubes que la forman.
Este análisis podría extenderse por innumerables páginas, y no conviene agotar al lector. En próximas entradas, se podrá profundizar en el asunto, si la audiencia lo tiene a bien.
Sin embargo, el objeto de este artículo es analizar el por qué se está abordando esta reestructuración del fútbol “no profesional” (valgan los matices hechos anteriormente) en España. Pues bien, nace por el deseo de los clubes con estructuras profesionales (como Castellón, Burgos, Cultural Leonesa, Logroñés, Nástic, Badajoz, Cartagena, Córdoba…) de explorar una vía de “profesionalización” de la categoría, que permita explotar una serie de recursos que, en la actualidad, es altamente complicado conseguir. Y la crisis del COVID ha acelerado este deseo. La forma, todo parece indicar, es la creación de una categoría intermedia entre la Segunda A y la actual Segunda B, denominada Segunda B PRO.
Se pretende con esto romper la situación anómala actual por la que diversos clubs con estructuras profesionales compiten en categorías no profesionales. La Segunda división B actual no genera ingresos, pero sí acarrea con incuantificables gastos para las estructuras profesionales. Es decir, hay un desfase insalvable que impide a las entidades autofinanciarse, abocadas en muchos casos a la generación de un déficit atroz, para los cuales se recurre a deuda externa que en ocasiones se convierte en incobrable para los prestamistas. El fin de estas entidades, como lo sería también de cualquier otra empresa, no es otro que la desaparición.
La categoría, por los motivos indicados, no atrae a inversores. La única tabla de salvación para las grandes estructuras de la categoría es el ascenso al fútbol profesional. Pero esto no es fácil, como bien sabe el lector, y los enormes esfuerzos económicos de algunos clubs para ascender a corto plazo pueden devenir en problemas de supervivencia si no se consigue tan ansiado ascenso. Muchos son los equipos que se han quedado por el camino.
Por lo tanto, la categoría no es atractiva. Vamos a hacerla atractiva para todos. Vamos a generar ingresos. Vamos a profesionalizarla. Eso piensan muchos de los grandes clubes de Segunda división B. Y eso, parece, piensa la Real Federación Española de Fútbol en este momento.
Pero hay un aspecto que no se ha mencionado, y en ocasiones se omite, pero que conviene recalcar. Las aficiones de estos clubes sí que se asemejan a las de clubes “profesionales”, cuando no las superan. Basta ver el número de abonados o de asistentes a los partidos de casa de algunos de los equipos anteriormente citados. Por lo tanto, hay esperanza de que esta categoría sea atractiva, porque mueve aficionados. Mueve ilusiones. Y esto no se puede menospreciar.
La nueva categoría del fútbol español que, como todo hace indicar, verá la luz al inicio de la temporada 2021/2022, tiene por objetivo reducir el número de equipos a la mitad en la categoría inmediatamente inferior a Segunda División A y contribuir a la profesionalización de la misma. De 80 a 40 equipos, si bien se prevé un año de transición hasta llegar a esa cifra. Múltiples preguntas en la cabeza de todos. ¿Nuevos contratos de derechos televisivos? ¿Gestión de la categoría por la LFP o RFEF? ¿Denominación, Segunda B PRO? ¿Sistemas de ascensos y descensos? ¿Zonificación de los grupos?
Entre medias tenemos la temporada 2020/2021, con múltiples incógnitas que a fecha actual son imposibles de resolver, pero en la que desde esporteando.es seguiremos ahondando, con la mayor clarividencia que podamos.

Vamos que se da la clasificación por pasta y porque 4 lo piden , se van a cargar el fútbol modesto ; que pasa que os molesta que un Leioa , Guijuelo etc… se calce a un superequipo que es tan super que está en la b ; está claro el objetivo , salvar a unos pocos para joder a unos muchos , ya lo conseguisteis , enhorabuena , ya lo de ganárselo en el campo hablamos otro día . La salsa del fútbol es eso pero al parecer molesta .
Así es. La única opción que tienen los pequeños este año es meterse a toda costa en la B PRO, y eso se lo ganarán en el campo. Veremos qué pasa, pero la idea es clara. También es verdad que los grandes que no entren en esa nueva categoría lo tendrán crudo para subsistir.
